The following provides an update on the Clerk’s remote and in-person services. 

Jury

All jury proceedings continue to be suspended through July 17, 2020. 


Services for Walk-In Customers

Access to the M.C. Blanchard Judicial Building (190 W. Government Street) and Theodore Bruno Juvenile Justice Center (1800 St. Mary Avenue) remain limited at this time.  By order of the Court any person entering an Escambia state court facility must wear a mask or face covering.  No contact temperature checks are also mandatory and those with temperatures exceeding 100.4 may not enter. 

  • You may be granted access if you are required to be present for an in-person court hearing or if you are filing a:
  • Petition for Dating Violence, Domestic Violence, Repeat Violence, Sexual Violence or Stalking Injunction;
  • Baker Act petition;
  • Marchman Act petition;
  • Vulnerable Adult petition;
  • Adult Protective Services petition;
  • Emergency guardianship appointment; or
  • Family Law and Dependency cases in which the imminent safety of children is at issue


We are pleased to announce that the Clerk’s Official Records location (221 N. Palafox Street) and Public Records Center (120 E. Blount Street) are now open to walk-in customers.  

The Clerk’s Century Office is now open to assist walk-in customers except for the issuance of marriage licenses.   To obtain your marriage license remotely, please click the provided link to obtain your marriage license remotely and you will be directed to the Clerk of Court’s website.


E-Services

If you are unable to visit in-person you may utilize the Clerk’s e-services to:

Phone Services 

Please use the Clerk’s online directory to reach a department directly.  Regular business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm CT.  

If you are paying a traffic citation or criminal court cost you may call 850-483-8468.  Payments can be made over the phone Monday through Friday 7am to 7pm and during the weekends from 9am to 1pm CT. 

 

Passports

Passport services remain suspended at this time.
