whereby the County agrees to begin a beautification project to convert the land to a beneficial use.  Costs are 
estimated to be $5.9 million, and will be recorded as a capital asset as costs are incurred.  An additional $150,000 
obligation is estimated for long‐term groundwater monitoring. 
Combined with the cost‐sharing programs mentioned above, the total pollution remediation obligation reported at 
September 30, 2011 in the governmental activities at the government‐wide statement of net assets is estimated to 
be approximately $2 million.
