Court Services - Child Abuse / Vulnerable Adult Abuse
Suspected abuse, neglect, abandonment, or exploitation of children or suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of vulnerable adults over the age of 60 or disabled should be reported immediately to the Florida Department of Children and Families ( DCFS ) by calling the Florida Abuse Hotline tollfree at 1-800-96ABUSE (1-800-962-2873) or by completing the online Florida Abuse Hotline Report.
Any emergency situation where a child or elderly/disabled person appears to face immediate risk of abuse or neglect that is likely to result in death or serious harm (without intervention) should first be reported immediately by calling 911 or your local law enforcement agency.
