The Clerk & Comptroller's Finance Department prepares a variety of financial reports. These reports are submitted to the Board of County Commissioners for acceptance into the public record. You will find a list below of each of these reports sorted by fiscal year ( October 1 through September 30 ).
The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, CAFR, is prepared annually by the Finance Department of the Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller. This report presents the financial position of the County
as a whole at September 30th of each year. The Escambia County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller has been awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for 26 out of the last 27 years.
The CAFR provides information on all of the County's outstanding bonds. This report is filed with each of the designated nationally recognized municipal securities information repositories and with the appropriate state information depository.
Additionally, the Clerk's Finance Department prepares the Annual Audit Report,
which presents each constitutional officer's stand-alone financial statement.
This audit report is provided each year to the Auditor General in compliance
with Auditor General Rule 10.556(4).
